Woman Made Gallery’s (WMG) Board of Directors Thanks Claudine Isé

Dear Supporters and Friends:

We would like to take this opportunity to publically Thank Claudine Isé, Woman Made Gallery’s former Executive Director.

“We are grateful for Claudine’s guidance over the past months as Woman Made Gallery began its leadership transition process,” said Board President Erin Waser. “While she was here, Claudine helped the organization set a clearer path for the future by securing the funding necessary to redesign Woman Made Gallery’s website, launching our new donor/member management system, and spearheading a dynamic shift in our exhibition and public programming. WMG was fortunate to benefit from Claudine’s thought-provoking curatorial style. She brought several powerful shows to the gallery, including ‘Feminism (N): Plural’ which explored contemporary issues surrounding the ongoing conversations of what feminism means today. The open reception and supporting programming set a exemplary model of the continued services WMG hopes to provide to the Chicago Artists Community.”

Claudine, who has stepped down from the role to pursue other leadership opportunities within the art community stated “I have truly enjoyed working with Woman Made Gallery’s wonderful staff and interns and I have great respect for its Board of Directors.”

Having worked closely with Claudine as the gallery manager, the newly elected Executive Director, Sydney Stoudmire added,  “I am thankful to have had the opportunity to work with such a talented arts professional as Claudine Isé. In the past several months, she has set Woman Made Gallery on a very clear path towards becoming a center for contemporary feminist inquiry through engaging exhibitions, programs, and dialogues.”

As a Board, we are grateful for Claudine’s guidance and wish her the best in all of her future endeavors.

Warm Regards,

Erin Waser                                                                            Andi Leets
