Sheila began teaching herself the art of making jewelry as a child playing in her grandmother’s jewelry box. She has returned to this art form many times throughout her life. After spending 12 + years as a registered nurse specializing in pediatric intensive care, Sheila decided to pursue art full time. She started making glass beads in 2003 to complement her jewelry designs and has become blissfully lost in the world of molten glass. Sheila has studied glass with Trey Cornette, Michael Barley, Sharon Peters and Sarah Hornik, all well respected masters in glass art.
