Throughout Rebecca Alston’s history, she has explored different areas of the interdisciplinary arts and from this has developed distinct bodies of work. Her foundation as an artist, architectural designer and environmentalist, lies in an understanding of color and all variables that make the perception of color so difficult. She has been drawing since the age of three and grew into working with paint and mixed media and creating larger pieces with masterful techniques. She transforms the two-dimensional into the three-dimensional.
