My sculptures and installations explore complexities of the human condition as well as issues about our relationship to nature. Handmade paper and materials from the plant kingdom are my primary artistic media. These materials decompose over time and serve as metaphors for the ever-changing non-permanent nature of our internal and external worlds.
For over 20 years I have participated in national and international juried exhibitions. I am a former faculty member at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and was a founding member of Form + Content Gallery in Minneapolis.
